Intelligent Design

Every herb has as different a personality as you and your next door neighbor…so each herb needs to be prepared in an individual manner to bring out its best for our trauma salve. Some herbs are infused whole, some ground, some course cut, some long cut, and some pummeled. While the infusion process goes on for several weeks, some of the herbs are added at different phases of the process to bring out their strongest medicinal properties.

Most of the herbs are cold infused for weeks before the hot infusion…while others join in after the hot infusion process. They are infused in glass and the final process takes place in porcelain until the salve is poured into the tins. This way their infusion time is spent in an environment where the only reaction is synergizing with the other herbs.

This gives us piece of mind that there is not plastic or metal leaching into our salve during the infusion. We respect your individual human sensitivities as well as the ecosystem.
